CEDAR CITY, Utah – Abilene Christian's
Avery Miloch got her 100
th career RBI as the Wildcats split at Southern Utah on Friday.

The Wildcats won the opener 13-5 and lost the second game 14-3.
Â
Miloch needed four RBIs to reach the milestone and had two in each game with Nos. 99 and 100 coming on a two-run home run.
Â
The Wildcats scored for times in the first inning of the opener on RBI singles by
Sammie Shelander,
Avery Miloch and
Catrin Hoffman and an RBI fielder's choice by
Randi Davila.

Kaydee Bennett added an RBI triple and scored on a throwing error for a 6-0 lead in the fourth inning.
Â
Miranda Lista powered a two-run home run to right center for an 8-1 lead in the fifth. Lista added another two-run single in the sixth and
Olivia Marble scored on a wild pitch for an 11-1 lead.

Miloch added a solo home run and
Riley White added an RBI double in the seventh.
Â
ACU had 13 hits, led by Bennett, Shelander, Miloch and Lista with two each. White and Padgett added doubles and Marble,
Karli Manney and
Catrin Hoffman added a single apiece.

Lina Russo pitched six innings with three strikeouts for the win and
Ella Beeman closed things down with a scoreless seventh with two strikeouts.

ACU's runs in the second game came on back-to-back home runs by Miloch and
Sydney Kaiser.
Â
ACU had six hits in the game. In addition to the home runs, Marble and Shelander had doubles and Padgett and Davila had singles.

Talia Nielsen took the pitching loss.

ACU and SUU finish the series at 1 p.m. (CT) on Saturday.
