Cats Fall at Sam Houston

HUNTSVILLE – Abilene Christian dropped the final game of the Sam Houston series, falling 6-1 on Saturday.
 
The Wildcats had four hits, led by Olivia Marble with two singles. Bubba Rote and Sydney Kaiser also had singles.
 
ACU got its lone run in the top of the first when Marble stole third and scored on a throwing error.
 
Lina Russo was charged with the loss.
 
The Wildcats get back to action on Tuesday with a 5 p.m. first pitch at UTSA.
