ABILENE – Abilene Christian returns to the home courts this week with home matches against Omaha and New Mexico State.

ACU Storylines
WALKING WOUNDED: ACU has battled injuries this season and is 7-8 on the year. The Wildcats have used five players at No. 5 singles and at least three players at every other singles slot this season. There have been a dozen doubles combinations used this season.
 
AT ONE: Daniel Morozov has four singles wins this spring to lead the team and Dario Kmet, at 3-2, has the best record at the top of the lineup.
 
MIHALY: Mihaly Deli is tied for second with five singles wins in duals and is 3-0 at the No. 2 slot this season. He is second only to Morozov with 11 overall singles wins, including tournaments.
 
STREAKS: Mihaly Deli, Martin Delnido and Ethan Scribner all won their last singles matches.
 
DELI DOUBLE: Mihaly and Merse Deli lead the Wildcats with six wins as a doubles tandem. All six wins are at No. 3 doubles.
 
LAST MATCH: Martin Delnido scored the decisive win on court five as Abilene Christian gutted out a 4-3 win over Lamar. ACU won the doubles point with victories Benjamin McDonald and Ethan Scribner winning at No. 2 and Mihaly Deli and Merse Deli taking No. 3. After doubles, ACU was left without the services of both of its usual No. 1 singles entrants but scored wins at No. 2 singles with Mihaly Deli and at No. 6 with Scribner.
 
LAST MEETINGS: ACU defeated Omaha 4-1 in Tulsa back in 2019 and beat NMSU twice last season, 6-1 in Abilene and 4-1 in Corpus Christi.
 
About Omaha
Omaha is 10-7 this season after a 7-0 loss to Baylor on Friday.
Bryan Kuntz and Quintan Van Wijk lead the Mavericks with 9-6 singles records. Kuntz is 6-4 at No. 4 singles and Van Wijk is 6-4 on the third line.
Kuntz and Mikhail Korkunov lead the Omaha doubles tandems with seven wins and are 7-7 at No. 1 doubles.
 
About New Mexico State
The Aggies are 5-8 after a 4-0 win over Morgan State. They will play Omaha on Tuesday.
Patrick Lohmann has been NMSU's top winner with a 5-5 record, including a 3-3 mark at No. 5 singles.
Gustavo Campos and Tobias Wallin are 6-4 as the Aggies' No. 1 doubles tandem.
