ACU Drops Two at Sam Houston

HUNTSVILLE – Abilene Christian scored runs in each game but lost both ends of a Friday doubleheader at Sam Houston, 10-1 and 8-1.
 
The Wildcats had two hits in the first game – a solo home run by Catrin Hoffman and a double by Kaydee Bennett.
 
Talia Nielsen took the loss.
 
Olivia Marble had a solo home run for the Wildcats in the second game. ACU had three other hits – a double by Hoffman and singles by Bennett and Sammie Shelander.
 
Ella Beeman took the loss.
 
The series finishes Saturday with a noon game.
