ABILENE - The ACU Wildcats will usher in some holiday spirit for their final game before Christmas -- a Saturday matinee against Texas Southern at Moody Coliseum.
Tip-off between the Wildcats and Tigers is at 3 p.m.
ACU (7-5 overall) is coming off a 68-67 loss at East Texas A&M in Commerce on Wednesday. ETAMUÂ sank a free throw with 1.9 seconds left for the victory.
Quion Williams led the Wildcats with 17 points, and also tied his season-high with 7 assists.
ACU led 27-20 at halftime of that game. It was the third fewest points the Wildcats have allowed in a first half this season, and the fifth time they've given up 27 points or fewer in the opening 20 minutes (ACU was 4-0 in such games before Wednesday).
Leonardo Bettiol leads ACU with 15 points and 63% on field goals. He has scored at least 15 points in each of his last eight games.
ACU has never played Texas Southern before. TSU (2-9) enters Saturday's contest on a 4-game losing streak. Their most recent game was an 82-51 loss at Boise State on Tuesday night.

Kavion McClain leads the Tigers with averages of 14 points and nearly 5 assists per game.
Fans will have the chance to meet and take pictures with Santa Claus on Saturday at Moody Coliseum. There will be holiday-themed promotions during the game, and everyone who buys a ticket will be in the running to win a JBL speaker.
Following the game versus Texas Southern, the Wildcats will enjoy a few days off for Christmas before returning to play on Saturday, Dec. 28 at Texas AM.
