MIAMI - The ACU women's basketball team excelled in the paint and in converting their opponents' mistakes into easy buckets in a 75-53 blowout over Sacramento State on Friday afternoon.
The Wildcats outscored the Hornets 28-10 in the key, and cashed 23 Sacramento State turnovers into 30 points.
The game was part of the FIU Thanksgiving Classic. ACU advances to play the host Panthers for the tournament championship.

- ACU shot 50% for the game while holding Sacramento State to just 33% shooting. The Hornets only made 11 field goals after the first quarter.

ACU faces FIU on Sunday at 12 p.m. CT. The Wildcats beat the Panthers at the Ocean Bank Convocation Center in the second game of the season -- a 76-73 victory on Nov. 8.
Bella Earle paced the Wildcats with 26 points in that win.
