Deli Named WAC Player of the Week

ABILENE – The Western Athletic Conference on Tuesday named Abilene Christian freshman Merse Deli as Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Week.
 
Deli, a freshman from Budapest, Hungary, opened his freshman duals season with a three-set win over Louis Bowden of 25^th-ranked Baylor. Deli also took three games in a loss to No. 101 Siem Woldeab of third-ranked Texas.
 
It is the first week of the WAC weekly award season for men's tennis. Daniel Morozov was honored as the WAC Men's Tennis Singles Player of the Month in October, giving ACU two WAC awards this academic year.
