ABILENE – Abilene Christian added Imani Robinson to the women's basketball staff as director of operations.
Robinson played professionally in Egypt earlier this year and has coached the Austin Elite AAU basketball team in each of the last three years. She played from 2016-20 at the University of the Incarnate Word and was twice named an All-Southland Conference selection and 2017 Southland Conference Freshman of the Year.
She graduated from UIW in 2020 with a bachelor's degree in psychology.
"I am thrilled for Imani to join our staff!" said ACU Head Coach
Julie Goodenough. "She was a decorated Southland player at Incarnate Word and her commitment to the game afforded her the opportunity to continue her career overseas. Imani is intelligent, a great worker and a woman of integrity. She will coordinate our travel as well as support our program's daily operations and assist our post-development coaches. We are excited to add another great ACU ambassador."
"From the courts to the sidelines, this game continues to bless me," Robinson said. "I am super excited to join the Wildcat family! 'In all your ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct your paths.'"
