Men's Golf Signing Day Recap

ABILENE – Abilene Christian men's golf added four-time high school event champion Colin Leonard to the 2023-24 roster on Signing Day.
Leonard set the San Angelo Central High School mark for scoring average and was First-Team All-District, Region and State. He was the 2022 TAPPS State Champion while at Cornerstone Christian.
"ACU Golf signed a big-time player today in Colin Leonard," said ACU Head Coach Tom Shaw. "He is one the fastest rising players in Texas and is just scratching the surface of the kind of player he can become. We love to keep talented West Texas players in Abilene and Colin Leonard is No. 1 on that list. He will be a household name at ACU for the next four years. Colin is the whole package - a skilled golfer, an excellent student, and a young man of outstanding character. We couldn't be more excited about this signing. Welcome to ACU Men's Golf Colin."
