Game Recap: Women's Soccer |

ACU dominates all facets of the game Sunday at Grambling

GRAMBLING, La. – Three Wildcats found the back of the net, goalkeeper Lili Ross notched another shutout, and the ACU soccer team picked up its first road win of the year, dominating Grambling State 3-0 Sunday afternoon. Ellen Joss, Caylen Wright, and Brennan all found the back of the net, as the Wildcats (2-2) pick up their second shutout win of the year. Two second-half goals put the game completely away, and ACU heads back home from Louisiana in style.

"It was a tough and really hot Sunday game on the road," said head coach Casey Wilson. "The longer grass was something we had to adjust to as well, but I am proud of how we took control of the game. We will enjoy this today and start preparing for next weekend at home."

The Goals
- 40' | Freshman Lox Neves made an impact by drawing a key foul, and Joss capitalized, scoring off the free kick to give ACU a 1-0 lead. The 'Cats led 1-0 at halftime.
- 45' | Less than a minute into the second period, Jordan Michie found Wright, and ACU caught Grambling State napping when the Wildcat senior found the back of the net. The lead doubled to 2-0 and was not slowing down.
- 51' | ACU put the game away when Natalie Jones fed Reuland for the third goal of the afternoon.
