ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— The Wildcats got their 2022 season underway at the Lobo Invitational where they faced the Titans of Cal State Fullerton on Friday afternoon. - Edmiston led the team with 12 kills and 14 digs earning a double-double in her collegiate debut.
- Both middles were efficient in limited attempts on the day, Brea Box led the team hitting .600 while Braden Bossier hit .400 on the day.
- Guffy earned her double-double with a team-high 17 assists and 10 digs.
- Madison Rohre added 13 assists and just missed a double-double with nine digs.
- Logan Browning stepped into the libero role and matched a team-high with 14 digs.
News and Notes
- The Wildcats now move to 0-2 all time against the Titans, the teams last met in 2019 in Abilene.
- Four different Wildcats totaled double-digit digs and the team tallied 65 in the match. The 65 digs ties for the fourth-most in a three-set match in the DI era. It was also the most digs in a three-set match since 2019 when the team had 63 in a sweep of McNeese.
