ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.— An efficient start to the afternoon earned the Wildcats their first set win of the season, but New Mexico would bounce back from a set one loss to win the match in four. Abilene Christian tallied 89 digs and often came out on the wrong side of long rallies, but they showed flashes of what this team could be. Five Wildcats totaled double-digit digs and three players came away with double-doubles.

- Bryley Steinhilber would lead the 'Cats with 13 kills and 19 digs, notching her first double-double of the season.
- Madeline Guffy put together her second double-double with 15 assists and 13 digs, while Madison Rohre led the way with 21 assists in the match to go along with 13 digs.
- Logan Browning put together a career-high 24 digs as well as notching an ace on the afternoon.
- Braden Bossier had a solid day out of the middle with 10 kills on a .450 hitting percentage.
