ABILENE, Texas – The ACU football program is set to begin fall camp on Monday, with players reporting the previous afternoon. The Wildcats will practice five days a week for four full weeks, with an open practice set to take place on Saturday, August 13.
"Our guys have had a great summer, and we are excited to get into fall camp and figure out exactly what we have," first-year head coach
Keith Patterson said. "At first glance, we like the ability and the depth of our program, so the next month is about getting these guys to work together as a team in preparation for that first game."
Media availability for players and coaches will come after practice on Tuesdays and Fridays throughout fall camp, and all requests must be made a minimum of 24 hours in advance through the ACU Athletics Communications office.
The 2022 season begins on September 1, when the Purple and White welcome former conference foe Lamar to Wildcat Stadium. Tickets are available at ACUSports.com/tickets or by calling the ACU Ticket Office at 325-674-CATS (2287).
