Softball announces addition of dominant RHP

ABILENE, Texas - Abigail Farler has announced a transfer addition to their 2022 recruiting class with the signing of Talia Nielsen out of Bakersfield College. While at Bakersfield, Nielsen racked up impressive numbers in the circle and was one of the most dominant pitchers in the California Community College Athletic Association (CCCAA). Talia pitched 237.2 of 289.2 innings on the season and tallied over 300 strikeouts while keeping an ERA under 2.00.

Her 9.13 strikeouts per seven innings was third in the CCCAA, she was second in total K's on the year
Part of a pitching staff that was second in strikeouts per seven innings and sixth in ERA in the CCCAA

I am thrilled to add Talia to our team. She had an outstanding year at Bakersfield with remarkable pitching statistics.
