ABILENE — ACU returned to the court on Wednesday night for the first time since las Tuesday at Oklahoma. The eight days off from competition seemed to suit the Wildcats as they played a solid match to earn the 3-0 sweep of the Prairie View A&M Panthers.
Lindsey Toney had six kills with no errors in just one set of action and helped lead ACU to the 25-11 win. Head coach
Angela Mooney switched up the lineup in set two bringing in
Londyn Gray and
Emily Van Dyke to play on the outside. Each notched eight kills on the night and helped lead the Wildcats to 25-17 and 25-16 wins in sets two and three, respectively.

- Brea Box extended her streak of hitting .400 or better to six-straight matches and led the team with 11 kills on the night.

- Jada Birkel tallied a new career-high hitting percentage, hitting .500 on the night with eight kills.

ACU will have another long break before they are in action again, playing next Thursday to tip off their inaugural season in the WAC. The Wildcats will play two familiar foes in their first weekend of conference action, heading to SFA on Thursday and Sam Houston on Saturday.
