NACOGDOCHES, Texas — The Wildcats faced a tough test on the road to open conference play with a trip to SFA. ACU was able to keep pace with the 'Jacks early but errors in serve receive and at the service line gave the Wildcats trouble. The team played well in the first set, hitting .216 as a team, but SFA just edged them in a 25-21 win. After a tough second set, ACU bounced back and held a slight lead for most of the third set, but SFA found a way to hold on for another 25-21 third set win.

News and Notes
- ACU saw another highlight performance from Brea Box as she led the way with 12 kills on a .579 hitting percentage.
- Madison Rohre was outstanding running the offense, totaling 32 assists on the night.
- Braden Bossier and Jada Birkel each had solid hitting nights as well hitting .375 and .385, respectively.
- Madison Lawler led the Wildcats on defense with 13 digs.
- ACU struggled at the service line with 13 serving errors. The team also had eight reception errors.
- The Wildcats edged SFA in total kills, 41-36.

The team will continue their road trip with a match on Saturday in Huntsville, Texas. The Wildcats will face Sam Houston at 1 p.m. looking to pick up their first WAC victory.
