ACU on the road to face Northwestern State

NATCHITOCHES, La. – ACU makes their way to Louisiana this week as they face Northwestern State on the road Wednesday night. This is the only meeting for the two teams this year and the Wildcats are looking for their eighth conference win of the season. The Demons are 8-12 on the season and 5-6 in Southland play, but are in the midst of a nine-game stretch where they play seven of nine at home. The Wildcats are coming off an important home win over UIW to push their league record to 7-3 and look to continue their winning ways in Natchitoches.

SERIES HISTORY
- Wildcats lead the series 5-1. ACU has won five-straight against the Demons.
- ACU is 3-0 at home and 2-1 on the road against NSU.
- ACU won the last meeting 78-69 in Moody Coliseum.  
- The Wildcats two wins in Natchitoches have come by double digits, but their lone loss was by 18 points.
- ACU is averaging 78.5 points per game in their games against the Demons.

ACU STORYLINES
- The Wildcats moved into fourth place in the conference standings with their win over UIW.
- Joe Pleasant is coming off one of his best performances of the season, scoring 19 points on 6-10 shooting.
- Clay Gayman had an outstanding performance off the bench against UIW, scoring 15 points and grabbing four rebounds.
- The Wildcats have held opponents under 60 points per game while at home, but have given up almost 73 points per game on the road. The team will look to hold the Demons below their season average of 72 points per game.
- Coming off three-straight double digit scoring efforts, Coryon Mason scored just four points against UIW but also grabbed four rebounds had two assists and a steal in 24 minutes of action.
- Reggie Miller has played well since joining the starting lineup and totaled four assists and three steals against UIW>

SCOUTING NSU
- The Demons are 1-3 over their past four contests with their lone win coming on the road at New Orleans.
- Forward, Chudier Bile, is leading the team in scoring with 13.8 points per game and has had five outing of 20-plus scoring efforts.
- NSU is averaging 72.55 points per game, but the team is giving up over 75 points per game on
- The Demon's best conference win of the season came on the road at Nicholls when the pulled out a 73-72 win.
