HAMMOND, La. – It's the second-to-last road game of the season for ACU, and the final of a three-game stretch over the last 10 days. The Wildcats (19-5, 11-4) go for their 20th win of the season on Saturday against the Southeastern Louisiana Lady Lions (10-14, 7-8 SLC). Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. at the University Center. The teams met just over a month ago on Jan. 18 in Abilene.

SERIES HISTORY
- ACU leads the series 9-3 all-time, but the Lady Lions have given the 'Cats fits over the years. SLU has won each of the last two games in Hammond by a combined five points, 74-71, and 78-76.
- The Wildcats beat the Lady Lions, 61-53, on Jan. 18 in Abilene. Junior Alyssa Adams went for a career day, scoring 22 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.
SOUTHLAND SIGNIFICANCE
- The Wildcats clinched a spot in the 2020 Hercules Tires Southland Conference Tournament, but now look for positioning in the final standings with just five games to play.
- ACU sits in fourth place (11-4), a full game out of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, who swept ACU this season. Sam Houston State sits in second, while SFA remains at the top. ACU hosts both those teams in the next 10 days.
ACU STORYLINES
- 30 4TH-QUARTER POINTS FUEL SWEEP OF HBU: Six different Wildcats scored in double figures and ACU shot 52% from the floor to sweep Houston Baptist. The Wildcats led late by 14 points, held on by five, after scoring 30 points in the fourth period.
- OFFENSIVE DISTRIBUTION: You can't ask for better distribution. ACU has six players score in double figures against HBU, doing so for the first time against a Division I opponent this season. It was just the second time all year; the Wildcats did it against Schreiner on Dec. 14. McLeod and Wright each recorded 16 points; the 16 is the most for McLeod against a Division I team this season. Ducat finished with 15 points on 5-of-9 from the floor and 5-of-5 at the free throw line. Golightly tallied 14 and dished out a team-best seven helpers while adding five rebounds. Mabry added 12 points to go along with a team-high six boards, while Adams finished with 11 and five.
- WE ARE IN!: With the win over Houston Baptist on Feb. 19, ACU punched its ticket to its third consecutive Southland Conference Tournament. ACU has only been eligible for three seasons, and has gone every year, including winning the title in 2018-19.
- OFFENSIVE SUCCESS: The team ranks 14th in the country in scoring at 79.0 points per game, and the +22.1 scoring margin per game ranks ninth in all of women's college basketball as well. The 47.4% shooting from the field ranks seventh in America, and the 37.5% shooting from distance ranks ninth in the country.
- I CAN DISH IT OUT AND TAKE IT: ACU is 24th in the nation in assists per game (17.7), 70th in assist/turnover ratio (1.1), and 47th in steals per game (10.0).
SCOUTING SOUTHEASTERN LOUISIANA (10-14, 7-8 SLC)
- The Lady Lions are coming off a heartbreaking loss in which it only scored four points in the fourth quarter against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi. SLU lost 49-48 on the road.
- SLU is in seventh place in the standings at 7-8, but holds just a two-game lead on ninth place. The top eight in the standings make the 2020 Hercules Tires Southland Conference Tournament.
- Southeastern Louisiana averages 62.1 points per game, and is led by Celica Sterling's 14.2 points per contest. Alexius Horne scored 31 points in the loss to ACU earlier this season.
