ABILENE, Texas – The Wildcats are back in Abilene after opening the season 3-0 in Florida. The men will host their home opener on Tuesday evening when Howard Payne comes to the Teague Center. The game will be part of a doubleheader with the women and is slated to start at 7:30 p.m. The team is in a tough stretch as this will be their fourth game in seven days, but they will have had two full days to prepare for the Yellow Jackets.

Clay Gayman was named to the all-tournament team and earned an honorable mention Southland Player of the Week after averaging 13 points, 2.3 rebounds, and totaling a team-leading seven steals and two blocks.
