HUNTSVILLE, Texas – After going 2-1 over their three-game homestand, the Wildcats head on the road for their first lengthy road swing of the conference season. ACU will begin their road trip at Sam Houston State, the defending regular season champions who went 16-2 in conference play a season ago. The Bearkats sit at 6-2 in Southland play and are tied for third place in the conference behind ACU and SFA who each have just one loss.

- ACU bring the top defense in the conference to face the third-best offense in the conference.
- The Wildcats bring the best turnover margin in the country into the game at plus-7.7. The team has forced 20-plus turnovers in back-to-back games.
