ABILENE – Coming off of a 2-0 week the Wildcats look for their third-straight victory when they host DIII Howard Payne on Thursday night. ACU earned a big win over Southeast Missouri last week before dominating NCCAA opponent, Dallas Christian, in a 68-point win on Saturday night. The Wildcats are looking for another solid win before they being conference play in New Orleans next week.

- ACU is sporting the third-best turnover margin in DI at plus-7.3 per game.
- The team is also within the top 50 in the NCAA with 8.8 steals per game. Southland foe, SFA, leads the country with 12.7 per game.
- Their defense is also ranked in the top 50 in the NCAA holding teams to 61.9 points per game, ranking 41
st in the nation.
SCOUTING HOWARD PAYNE
- The Yellow Jackets are led in scoring by junior guard, Jase Miguez, who is averaging 19.4 points per game.
- Sophomore guard, Luke Cox, is leading the team shooting just under 41 percent from three-point range. He is averaging 9.7 points per game.
- The team is 1-6 on the season with their lone win coming against Texas Lutheran on Nov. 15, they are currently on a five-game losing streak.
- HPU is averaging 73.4 points per game which is ranked 268
th in NCAA Division III.
