ABILENE – ACU will be back at home on Thursday afternoon to continue play in the Southwestern Showdown presented by Engage Telehealth. This will be the Wildcats' lone home game of the extended tournament event, hosting Champion Christian College out of Arkansas. ACU hosts the NCCAA school coming off of a tough loss on Monday night at UNLV, and will look to bounce back with a big win on Thursday for Kids Day.

Trey Lenox had his best offensive game of the season at UNLV going 4-of-6 from the field and scoring 11 points.

Joe Pleasant (at UNLV) each put up a double-double this past week. The duo are the first pair of Wildcat teammates to earn double-doubles in back-to-back games since the 2-17-18 season.

Damien Daniels continues to lead the Wildcats offense, averaging 4.0 assists per game.

Payten Ricks is averaging 16.3 points per game, he has made four or more threes in two of the four games for ACU.
- Ricks also leads the team in steals per game averaging three per contest.
SCOUTING Champion Christian
- The school boasts just 100 enrolled students, the team moved from the ACCA to the NCCAA in 2017.
- The Tigers are 2-1 coming into this game, not including four exhibition games they have played on the season as well.
- The team is comprised of 13 underclassmen and three seniors.
- The Tigers faced Lamar earlier in the season, falling 86-40, they will also play Northwestern State later this year.
