ABILENE – Abilene Christian volleyball continues its tournament season road swing this weekend with Friday and Saturday matches at Tulsa. The Wildcats will battle the host Golden Hurricane Friday at 6:30 p.m. and Oral Roberts Saturday at 1:30 p.m.
ACU's contest vs. Tulsa will be its first in team history, while its meeting with the Golden Eagles will be its third since 2013. ORU has won the series' first two matches in 2013 and 2016.

The Golden Hurricane went 15-17 last season and is off to a 4-2 start this fall with their two losses coming against Purdue and East Tennessee State. Tulsa's victories came against Bowling Green, Wofford, UMBC and Belmont.
ORU's 2018 record is 2-4. The Golden Eagles went 1-3 during their first weekend with a triumph over North Florida and scored a 3-0 win over Grambling State last Saturday.
Last season's ORU team qualified for the NIVC after posting overall and Summit League records of 15-14 and 11-3; however, the Golden Eagles lost to North Texas in the first round.
