ABILENE – Abilene Christian volleyball (3-9) will play host to Lamar (3-8) and McNeese (1-3) Thursday and Saturday at Moody Coliseum for the start of the Wildcats' sixth season as members of the Southland Conference. First serve vs. the Cardinals is set for 6 p.m., while Saturday's matinee vs. the Cowgirls is slated to begin at 1 p.m.

ACU has won three of its last four matches vs. Lamar to even the all-time series at 3-3, while the Cowgirls have a 4-3 series edge on the Wildcats after sweeping last year's season series.

Kendall Bosse rank first in the Southland Conference in total attacks (480), assists (478) and assists per set (9.37). Bosse averaged 9.1 assists per set and hit over .400 last weekend at SMU to earn an honorable mention for Southland Conference Offensive Player of the Week.
