ABILENE – Abilene Christian Volleyball Wednesday departed for Atlanta, where it will spend part of the next four days competing at Georgia Tech's Hyatt Regency Invitational alongside Georgetown, Winthrop, Idaho State and the host Yellow Jackets.
ACU has yet to face any of these programs in it's history.
The Wildcats will battle the Hoyas and Eagles Friday, and Georgia Tech and Idaho State Saturday before coming home to play host to Texas Tech Tuesday night for their lone non-conference home match. Live stats (links not available) are expected to be activated in the coming days, plus the Wildcats' match vs. the Yellow Jackets will be streamed on
ACC Extra. Additional in-game updates will be posted to the
@ACU_Volleyball twitter feed.
Head coach
Angela Mooney's team recently completed close to three weeks of preseason training camp and everyone is excited for a return to action with several starters coming back from last year's Southland Conference Championship runner-up squad. Mooney also brought in six impact newcomers and was pleased to see during Friday's intrasquad match a, "wide range of depth at every single position."

Katelyn Mueller.
