The Wildcats begin a home-and-home series with the Islanders of Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Wednesday, Jan. 24 heading into their bye weekend ... This is ACU's lone home game until Feb. 10 as it plays three of its next four games on the road ... ACU plays at Corpus Christi on Feb. 21.

ACU leads its all-time series vs. the Islanders 5-2, which includes a 3-1 mark at Moody Coliseum and 2-1 record in Corpus Christi.

The Wildcats have played the Islanders twice a year over the past three seasons and have swept the last two series.

ACU's 2016 home win over Corpus Christi, 63-52, clinched the Wildcats' their first of two Southland Conference regular-season championships. 

Central Arkansas improved to 2-4 all-time vs. the Wildcats following its 63-45 win at the Farris Center on Jan. 20 ... The Sugar Bears held ACU to several season lows, including 22 rebounds, 21 second-half points, 42 field goal attempts and .231 3-point shooting (3-13) ... ACU also shot below 70 percent (8-14, .571) from the free-throw line for only the second time in the past nine games.

Kierra Jordan pulled down an opponent season-high 16 rebounds to go along with 23 points ... She and Taylor Baudoin (24 points) were the first opposing Southland duo to each score 20 or more points vs. ACU since Feb. 16, 2017 when Stephen F. Austin's Taylor Ross and Stevi Parker netted 20 and 31 points, respectively.

ACU's two-game conference losing streak is its first since dropping back-to-back games vs. Lamar on Jan. 31 and Feb. 5, 2015.

Individual milestones recorded at Central Arkansas included Breanna Wright's 400th career point and 200th assist, and Lexi Kirgan's 100th point ... Wright's 40-minute complete game was her 10th of her career, sixth of the season and fourth over the past five games.
