Men's tennis takes on TCU, Abilene schools at Walmart Open

ABILENE – The men's tennis teams from all three Abilene universities and select individuals from TCU will compete Friday and Saturday at ACU's annual Walmart Open. There are three flights of singles and two flights of doubles.
 
Matches begin Friday at 2 p.m. with the first round of doubles taking place at ACU's Eager Tennis Center. Flight 1 singles competitors will remain at ACU, while Flights 2 and 3 will be dispatched, respectively, to McMurry and Hardin-Simmons.
 
The first round of singles is expected to commence at 3:30 p.m. at each of the three locations followed by the second round of singles.
 
The second and third rounds of doubles start Saturday at 8 a.m. at ACU, followed by a third and fourth rounds of singles at 12:30 p.m.
 
Flight 1 singles will feature Wildcats Jonathan Sheehy, Henry Adams and Niko Moceanu, while Flight 2 includes Paul Michael Domanski, Hunter Holman and Cole Lawson.
 
Brad Gleason, Jackson Fine and Joaquin Delgado – winner of his draw at last weekend's New Mexico State Aggie Invitational – will represent the Purple and White in Flight 3.
 
ACU's doubles pairing include Sheehy and Adams, Moceanu and Domanski, Lawson and Gleason. Holman will split time with Fine and Delgado as Josh Sheehy competes this weekend at the Oracle ITA Masters and junior Sebastian Langdon continues his recovery from injury.
