ABILENE – The Abilene Christian soccer team Thursday announced that this weekend's matches at Prairie View A&M and Texas Southern have been cancelled due to catastrophic flooding brought to southeast Texas by Hurricane Harvey.
Neither match will be rescheduled. However, to keep his team sharp for next weekend's matches at Oral Roberts (Sept. 8) and Oklahoma State (Sept. 10), head coach
Casey Wilson added a game at Texas Permian Basin slated for next Tuesday (Sept. 6) at 6 p.m.
ACU is 4-0 all-time vs. the Falcons with their most recent meeting coming in 2010, a 3-0 victory for the Wildcats.
