Football single-game tickets now on sale

 SINGLE-GAME TICKETS

ABILENE – Single-game tickets for arguably the most-anticipated season in ACU football history go on sale Wednesday via acusports.com, including the Sept. 16 home-opener against Houston Baptist in the inaugural game on the turf of Anthony Field at Wildcat Stadium.

Tickets can be purchased at acusports.com/tickets.

The Wildcats will host the Huskies at 6 p.m. in the first college football game played on the ACU campus since Nov. 27, 1958 when the Wildcats beat Howard Payne, 49-30, in the season finale. ACU moved into what later became known as Shotwell Stadium midway through the 1959 season and played there through the 2016 season.

But the Wildcats have a new home on the north part of the campus, and fans who haven't purchased season tickets can now buy single-game tickets to see the Wildcats take on Houston Baptist (Sept. 16), Stephen F. Austin (Sept. 23), McNeese (Oct. 7), Southeastern Louisiana (Oct. 21 Homecoming contest) or defending Southland Conference champion Sam Houston State (Nov. 11).

Tickets are for sale in all sections except for club seats (205, 206 and 207) and reserved section 106, all of which have sold out for the inaugural season.

Tickets for the HBU game Homecoming contest against Southeastern Louisiana range in price from $15-$35 for adults and $12-$20 for children. Tickets for the three remaining home games against Stephen F. Austin, McNeese and Sam Houston State will range in price from $12-$30 for adults and $9-$15 for children.

All military, seniors (65+) and spouses and children of ACU faculty / staff with an ID will receive a 20 percent discount on single-game ticket prices.
