ABILENE, Texas – The Abilene Christian volleyball team looks to rebound from a winless weekend in the Metroplex Friday and Saturday when they take part in a four-team classic that features New Mexico State, Wichita State and host Texas A&M.

Live stats are being offered for all three contests and the ACU vs. Texas A&M match will be televised live on SEC Network + at 4:30 p.m. Saturday.

The Wildcats begin their trip Friday at 11 a.m. vs. the Shockers, who are receiving votes in this week's AVCA DI Coaches Poll after going 2-1 last weekend vs. Oregon State (W, 3-0), No. 18 Hawaii (L, 1-3) and Idaho (W, 3-0) in Honolulu.

The Aggies also are receiving votes this week after splitting a pair of matches with No. 2 Stanford (L, 0-3) and Minnesota (W, 3-2) in Palo Alto, while New Mexico State's Gwen Murphy earned AVCA National Player of the Week honors after leading her side to a 3-1 weekend behind 3.80 kills per set and .478 hitting percentage.

Murphy's Aggies defeated teams from Northeastern, Air Force and Montana, and nearly upset No. 16 Arizona State before falling in five sets.

New Mexico State and ACU play Saturday at 10 a.m.

ACU completed its run in last weekend's TCU/SMU-based Crosstown Classic with a 0-3 mark after losing to TCU and UTEP in Fort Worth and to No. 17 Arizona at SMU's Moody Coliseum.

The Wildcats had 64 kills in four sets vs. the Miners, which were their most since it posted 67 last year in a 3-2 loss at Northwestern State (La.) on Oct. 2, and its third-highest total in the program's last three-plus season (87 matches). The most kills ACU has in that span are 74, which came in a 3-2 loss to Dallas Baptist on Oct. 9, 2012.

Additionally, the Wildcats' 197 attempts vs. UTEP marked their 10th-highest number of attempts in a match since the 2007 season.
