The Lions, meanwhile, fell to 8-4 overall and 3-3 against the league.
ACU started its morning match with back-to-back 8-2 doubles victories from its No. 2 and 3 teams, each of which have been stellar of late.
Freshmen

Erin Walker and freshman
Whitney Williams improved to 2-1 vs. league competition with their win over Margaux Kaltenbacher and Dany Raygadas.
All four of the aforementioned Wildcats would go on to win their singles matches in straight sets.
Williams won her fourth straight at the No. 5 position after coasting past Raygadas, 6-3, 6-2, but the team's longest individual winning streak still belongs to junior
