GARLAND, Texas –  The ACU Wildcats will try to snap their longest losing streak of the season Monday night when they take on Lamar in a neutral-site game at the Culwell Center in Garland. The game was originally scheduled to be played at Moody Coliseum, but the site of the game had to be moved because of ACU's annual Sing Song production has taken over the coliseum.

The game is set for a 7 p.m. tipoff. The game can be heard locally on 98.1 FM The Ticket or on the internet at www.the98x.com. There will be no video coverage of Monday night's game.

After opening the Southland Conference season 3-0 and improving to 9-7 overall, the Wildcats have dropped seven straight games, including last Saturday night's 65-52 home loss to Southeastern Louisiana. The Wildcats haven't scored more than 70 points in six of the seven consecutive losses and are averaging just 59.5 points per game in the other six games.

Senior guard Harrison Hawkins leads the Wildcats in scoring at 14.5 ppg, while junior guard Parker Wentz is averaging 11.5 ppg. Senior guard LaDarrien Williams is averaging 10.5 ppg, while junior forward Austin Cooke is averaging 10.0 ppg and a team-leading 5.7 rebounds per game.

Having dropped four of the past five games, the Cardinals will try and salvage the final game of the current three-game road swing when they face the Wildcats. The Cardinals will be facing an ACU team in a similar situation. The Cardinals enter the contest just a game and a half up on ACU in seventh place. Monday's game is slated to tip off at 7 p.m. from the Culwell Center.

Senior Anthony Holliday has been one of Lamar's leading scorers since the start of the season, and he has taken his game to another level since the start of Southland Conference play. In the team's 11 league contests, Holliday has become one of the conference's top scorers. He is currently ranked third in the Southland averaging 20.5 points per game (in Southland only games). During that time, he has scored at least 23 points in a game six times, set a new career high three times and hit the 30-point plateau once.
