Live Stats l Live Audio l Live VideoABILENE – The ACU Wildcats will try to snap a six-game losing streak Saturday afternoon when they return to the floor at Moody Coliseum and host Southeastern Louisiana in a Southland Conference game.

The Wildcats enter Saturday afternoon's contest at 9-13 overall and 3-6 in the league (ninth place), while the Lions are 5-16 and 2-6 (11th place). This is the first of two meetings between the teams this season. ACU will be in Hammond, La., for a doubleheader on Feb. 21 that will be broadcast on ESPN3.
ACU is led in scoring by a trio of guards in senior
Harrison Hawkins, junior
Parker Wentz and senior
LaDarrien Williams. Hawkins – who scored 33 points last Saturday in an 84-74 loss at Lamar – is now averaging a team-best 14.3 points per game, while Wentz is averaging 11.8 ppg and Williams is averaging 10.9 ppg.
The Wildcats have lost six straight conference games after starting league play at 3-0. ACU is averaging just 63.2 ppg in those six games, while giving up 77.2 ppg.
Southeastern enters Saturday's game having lost four straight games and eight of its last 10 contests. The Lions' only two wins in that span were a Jan. 10 win at home against Houston Baptist and a 108-98 double-overtime win at Incarnate Word on Jan. 17.
The Lions are led in scoring by junior transfer guard Zay Jackson and sophomore guard Joshua Filmore. Jackson – who transferred to Southeastern from Murray State – is averaging 16.2 ppg, while Filmore is averaging 12.8 ppg.
ACU enters the game as the league's top 3-point field goal shooting team (178 for 456, 39.0 percent), while Southeastern enters ranked 11th in the 13-team league in the category, having hit just 126 of 420 3-point field goal attempts (30.0 percent).
After Saturday afternoon's game, the Wildcats will be back in action Monday at 7 p.m. when they take on Lamar in a neutral-site game at the Culwell Center in Garland. The game was originally scheduled to be played at ACU's Moody Coliseum, but had to be moved to accommodate the set-up for the university's annual Sing Song program.
