STILLWATER, Okla. – The ACU men's and women's cross country teams will return to action Saturday when they compete in the prestigious Oklahoma State Cowboys Jamboree.
For more than seven decades the OSU Cross Country Course has been the home to the Jamboree, the oldest cross country race in America. This year's race marks the 75th year for the Jamboree, which annually attracts some of the nation's top teams and runners.
The ACU women's team – led by Alyse Goldsmith – will compete over a 5,000-meter course beginning at 8 a.m. Saturday. The Wildcats will compete against, among others, Oklahoma, West Texas A&M, East Central, Central Oklahoma and several strong NAIA programs in the College Division.
The ACU men – led by newcomer Xavier King – will compete over an 8,000-meter course beginning at 9:45 a.m. Saturday. The Wildcats will compete against the likes of Oklahoma Sate, Oklahoma, TCU, UTEP, Wichita State and North Texas in the University Division.
