ABILENE – The Abilene Christian volleyball team heads east to Commerce and Denton, Texas this weekend for a pair of Lone Star Conference matches against the Lions and Pioneers. The Wildcats will first visit Texas A&M-Commerce Friday at 7 p.m. before heading to Texas Woman's for a Saturday 2 p.m. contest.
Live statistics will be made available for each match. TWU will also provide a

The Wildcats begin the week at 10-16 overall and seventh within the conference at 6-10 after salvaging the final game of last week's three-match homestand. ACU started the week with two painful 3-0 losses to Commerce and Kingsville, but rebounded in time for Saturday's Parents' Day to score a 3-0 victory over Incarnate Word.
Junior
Madelyn Robinett recorded 10 kills vs. the Cardinals on 28 attempts (.286) to establish a new three-set career high, and provided an ace and block assist to finish with 11.5 points. ACU also received strong showings from senior
Kalynne Allen, who in her final game at Moody, drove in 10 kills on 31 attempts (.258). Freshman
Corrie Reeder had a team-high 13.5 points on the strength of 12 kills and two blocks, while Jennie Loerch had two solo blocks and 11 kills.

Sarah Siemens and libero
Madison Hoover, also rank among the conference leaders with 10.55 assists and 4.67 digs per set, respectively.
Commerce (19-8, 10-7 LSC) is coming off a 3-0 loss Tuesday night to the Pioneers (19-6, 13-4 LSC), which snapped a three-match winning streak that included victories over ACU, Cameron and Midwestern State. The Lions are the league's top team in service aces with 1.58 per set, and are led individually by attacker Rachel Robertson, defensive specialist Michaela Spicer and veterans Jordan Neal and Breanne Snyder.
Robertson ripped 25 kills in last Tuesday's win at ACU and begins the week with the LSC's best hitting percentage at .390. She also ranks second in kills to Angelo State's Shelbi Goode with 3.91 kills per set.
Neal (0.37) and Snyder (0.33) rank first and third among the conference leaders in aces, while Spicer is No.3 in digs with 5.18 per set.
Texas Woman's is one of the LSC's top offensive teams and is in the midst of a four-match winning streak that's pushed it to within a half game of second place. Leading the Pioneers are Viktorija Jablonska (.325), Marcela Alves (.299) and Chloe Tate (.294), all of who currently rank among the league's top-10 leaders in hitting percentage.
