ABILENE – Abilene Christian's final scheduled race of the regular season will take place Saturday morning at the Clay County Country Club in Henrietta, Texas for the Midwestern State / Sikes Senter Cross Country Carnival.
The women's 6K race begins at 9 a.m. and will immediately be followed by the men's 8K competition. The Wildcats will be running against 10th-ranked MSU, Central Oklahoma, UT-Dallas and Southwestern Oklahoma on the women's side, while the men's race will pit ACU vs. UT-Dallas and Cameron.
ACU again was led to the finish line last week at the Oklahoma State Cowboy Jamboree by freshman Xavier King and senior Alyse Goldsmith. King, a native of Toronto, finished the Stillwater, Okla., course in 27:01.58, which was a nine-second improvement over his previous 8K recorded at the Texas Tech Red Raider Open.
Goldsmith's Cowboy Jamboree mark of 19:47.33, meanwhile, was a 25-second improvement from her time in Lubbock.

From Wichita Falls, take US 287 South and exit at Spur 510. Take a left under the overpass. The Clay County Country Club is located on the right side of the road.
From Dallas/Fort Worth, take US 287 North and exit at Spur 510. Turn right at the stop sign. The Clay County Country Club is located on the right side of the road.
