Wildcats And Buffs Meet for Regular Season Title

ABILENE - The ACU Wildcat volleyball team host West Texas A&M as they tangle with the Lady Buffs for the Lone Star Conference regular season championship. Fans are encouraged to come out for a “Purple-Rush” and wear purple in hopes of packing Moody Coliseum on Thursday night.
Doors open as always at 6 p.m. and the first 250 fans will receive rally towels for game. 
ACU and WTAMU are both 12-0 in the Lone Star Conference as the Wildcats will try to extend their 25-match winning streak inside Moody Coliseum. Also the Wildcats will try to end the Lady Buffs NCAA Record 78-straight conference winning streak set last week.
Matches: #21 ACU (24-3, 12-0 LSC) vs. West Texas A&M (22-8, 12-0 LSC)
When: Nov. 4 – 7:00 p.m.

What You Need To Know
·         The winner clinches the Lone Star Conference Regular Season Championship and right to host next week's Lone Star Conference Post-Season Tournament.
·         Both teams are streaking: ACU is trying to extend their 25-game home winning streak while the Lady Buffs are trying to extend an NCAA record 78-game conference winning streak.
·         WTAMU has knocked off ACU the past two seasons both in the regular season and the LSC Tournament Championship game; it would be the first win over the Lady Buffs for the Head Coach Kellen Mock and for the Wildcats since a 3-2 win on Nov. 3, 2005.
·         Senior Shawna Hines is making a bid for LSC Player of the Year leading the league in hitting percentage at .327 and in blocks with 130 total and 1.43 blocks per set.
·         The first 250 fans receive white rally towels and ALL fans are encouraged to wear purple to help “Purple Rush” the Lady Buffs.
