ABILENE – The ACU Wildcats finished out their weekend run at the ACU Volleyball Classic with two more impressive wins Saturday afternoon.
The Wildcats beat both Western New Mexico and Incarnate Word by 3-0 scores as they pushed their winning streak to four straight matches. ACU is now 5-3 overall, including 4-0 at home.
The Wildcats were led in both games by Jordan Schilling who again dominated the net with 14 kills against Western New Mexico and 13 against Incarnate Word. In the second game against Incarnate Word she had an attacking percentage of .500 which led the tournament.
Junior Ijeoma Moronu added 60 assist to her total on the weekend giving her 113 in the two days.
The Wildcats won both games in three set defeating Western New Mexico, 25-12, 25-18, 25-10 and Incarnate Word, 25-23, 25-18, 25-13.
The Wildcats will again hit the road as they travel to Dallas to participate in the Dallas Baptist Lady Patriot Invitational. ACU will play Southwest Baptist and Arkansas-Monticello on Friday and Southern Arkansas and host Dallas Baptist on Saturday.
