DALLAS -- The oldest rivalry in the Lone Star Conference takes on a new twist this weekend
when the second-ranked ACU Wildcats and winless Texas A&M-Commerce continue their series at the historic Cotton Bowl in Fair Park.

Saturday's game is the second annual Harvey Martin Classic and is set for a 5 p.m. kickoff.  The game will be the 67th all-time meeting between the teams in a series that dates back to 1922.  ACU holds a 38-27-1 series edge against Commerce, including last year's 45-14 win in Abilene.

The 2-0 Wildcats are ranked No. 2 in the nation, according to both the American Football  Coaches' Association and d2football.com.  The Wildcats enter Saturday's game coming      off a 58-10 thrashing of Fort Lewis (Colo.) in a non-conference game at Shotwell Stadium.

The Lions, meanwhile, are 0-2 and have scored just 14 points on the season.  Commerce suffered a 41-7 loss to FCS member Southeastern Louisiana last Saturday.

Local fans can listen to the game on KYYW 1470 AM.  For ACU alumni who are looking for information on tickets, fan bus to the game and pre-game tailgate information, the ACU Alumni Web site has information, maps and ticket prices.
