Biography
Bacon comes back for a third season at the middle blocker position after increasing her role as a sophomore.
2007 (Sophomore):
More than doubled her numbers from her freshman season with 160 kills and 36 blocks in her sophomore campaign at ACU. Reached double-digit kills in eight matches for the Wildcats and had a season-high 16 in just four games against Emporia State Oct. 6. She hit .246 on the year, which ranked second on the team
tallying 2.91 kills per game. Bacon was honored for her work in the classroom and was named to the LSC Commissioner’s Honor Roll.
2006 (Freshman):
Played in 18 matches and 53 games for the Wildcats. Finished the season with 61 kills and 15 blocks. Posted a career-high 12 kills on Aug. 25 against Michigan Tech.
High School:
Bacon led the Eagles of Temple Christian HS to a 37-5 record as a senior in 2005. Temple Christian won its first ever Mid-America Association of Christian Schools title in Kansas City, and then followed that up by winning the National Association of Christian Athletes national championship in Dayton, Tenn. Bacon was a three-time all-state selection and was the state MVP as a junior in 2004.
