Slated as the starter at the setter position after a solid rookie campaign where she earned all-conference and all-region honors.

2007 (Freshman):
Ranked third in the Lone Star Conference in assists with 1,146 that also marked the 10th-highest single-season mark in ACU history. It also moved Moronu to eighth all-time on ACU’s career assists chart in only her first season with the team. She was an honorable mention selection to the AVCA’s all-Southwest Region team and she was a second-team selection on the all-LSC volleyball squad. She was named the LSC’s Setter of the Week two consecutive times (Oct. 29, Nov. 5). Recorded a season-high 59 assists against Eastern New Mexico Sept. 27. Also recorded 251 digs, 94 kills, and 49 blocks proving her skills extend beyond the setter position.

High School:
Moronu played four positions at Paschal High School, where she was a four-year letterwinner. Moronu was a first team all-district selection and first team academic all-state pick as a senior in 2006. Last year as a senior, she finished with 337 kills and 402 assists. As a junior in 2005, she was a first team all-district and academic all-district selection, helping her team win a bi-district championship. As a freshman in 2003, Moronu was her district’s Gatorade Rookie of the Year and MVP.
