Amie Porter enters her second season as an assistant coach for the volleyball program in the 2024 season.
Prior to herĀ time at Abilene Christian, Amie played as a setter for The Citadel Military College of South Carolina. During her juniorĀ season in 2021, her team earned a Southern Conference tournament championship, earning a NCAA Div. I tournament bid. In the 2020-21, PorterĀ appeared in all 17 matches, totaling 66 set She finished the season with 648 assists, 135 digs, 16 service aces, and 18 blocks. Porter handed out 45 assists in her first career start against the College of Charleston, posted 50 assists and nine digs in the conference opener against Western Carolina and followed it upĀ with 34 assists and 11 digs in a three-set victory over the Catamounts. She earned a career-high 19 digs, to go along with 33 assists at Mercer. Porter went on to closeĀ out the season with career-high 58 assists, 12 digs and three service aces against Samford.

Porter has a bachelorās degree in business administration from The CitadelĀ in 2022 and is working towards her masterās degree in management with a focus in data analytics from ACU.
Porter is also married to her husband,Ā Selwyn Porter.Ā
