Aleah (Davis) Dillard enters her sixth year in 2022 as a volunteer assistant coach for the Abilene Christian women’s soccer team.

A four-year letter winner at UTEP, Dillard started all 22 matches as a senior, scoring 20 points for a team that went 13-7-2 and reached the semifinals of the Conference USA Championships. Five of her six goals were game-winners as she placed 17 shots on goal.

Dillard’s contributions on the pitch resulted in her becoming the first Miner in program history to reap both all-conference and all-region accolades for all four years. She was tabbed NSCAA Third Team Central Region in 2013, 2014 and 2015 followed by a second team appearance in 2016. At the conference level, Dillard was a first team honoree in 2014 and 2015, a second team awardee in 2016, and third team designee in 2013.

The Miners have been constants on the Wildcats’ schedule since ACU joined the DI ranks in 2013, and it was during their first meeting that Dillard scored her first collegiate goal in the 12th minute. That match ended in a 1-1 tie, one of three contests between ACU and UTEP that was decided in overtime. The Wildcats lost to UTEP, 1-0, in 2014 and 2015, and played to a scoreless tie last fall.

Dillard four times was named to the C-USA Commissioner’s Honor Roll, and in the winter of 2016 she was voted to the NSCAA Senior Women’s College Scholar All-America Team. She graduated from UTEP in May of 2017 with a bachelor’s degree in kinesiology.

Dillard is a native of Hewitt, Texas and 2012 graduate of Midway High School, where she was a second team all-state honoree. She played club soccer for D’Feeters 95’ and was a member of North Texas State ODP.

Dillard serves the program as a volunteer assistant coach, while working for Tri-College Fellowship of Christian Athletes with her husband and former UTEP sprinter Kristian Dillard. They were married in August 2017.
