Biography

Goes into her senior season as the starter at one of the Wildcats' forward spots. 2005-06 (Junior): Started 10 games and averaged 6.9 points and 3.8 rebounds a game for the Wildcats after transferring to ACU from Texas-San Antonio. Scored her Wildcat career-high of 21 points in a home overtime loss to Northwest Missouri on Nov. 23. Grabbed her Wildcat career-high 11 rebounds in a home win over Central Oklahoma on Dec. 8. 2004-05 (Sophomore at UTSA): She played in 14 games for the Lady Roadrunners in 2004-05, averaging 1.0 points and 0.0 rebounds per game as UTSA finished 16-12 overall. 2003-04 (Freshman at Midland College): She played at Midland College in 2003-04, averaging 7.6 points, 5.0 rebounds and 21 minutes per game. She helped the Lady Chaparrals to a 20-10 record in the Western Junior College Athletic Conference. High School: She was a four-year letterwinner at Menard High School where she led the Lady Yellowjackets to the state semifinals as a freshman. She averaged 17.4 points, 7.6 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 3.2 blocks per game as a senior. She was a two-time district Most Valuable Player, and a four-time all-region and all-state selection. She contributed to a 76-game district winning streak, and as a senior led her team to the regional semifinals. She also lettered in track and field and was a four-time regional qualifier in the high jump. Personal: Younger sister of former ACU all-region performer and current graduate assistant coach Lynsie Blau. 2003 graduate of Menard High School where she played for head coach Jerry McSherry.
