2013-13 (Junior): [Spring] … First Team All-Southland Conference doubles with Guilherme Gesser … Went 8-4 with Gesser at No. 1 doubles and 3-2 against the league … Finished with an overall doubles record of 14-12, playing at 26 matches at the top position … Went 4-7 with Nicklas Wingord, 1-1 with Jason Proctor and 1-0 with Nico Agritelley … Played all but one of his singles matches at No. 1 and went 15-11 (2-4 vs. Southland) … Started year on four match winning streak … Won several matches in three sets, including a marathon 6-3, 6-7, 14-12 decision over Omaha’s Tyler Mercier at the National Invitational Tennis Tournament … Held off Cleveland State’s Jorg Van Der Vloet, 7-6, 1-6, 10-7, in a 4-3 ACU victory… Lost in three sets to Rice’s Srikar Alla, 6-3, 1-6, 4-6 and to Nicholls’ Freshman of the Year Partha Adavelly, 6-7, 6-2, 4-6 … With Gesser, defeated Incarnate Word’s Newcomer of the Year Jospi Smoljian and Leonard Ivic at No. 1 doubles, 8-7 (5) to help clinch the doubles point in a 4-3 victory … [Fall] … Went 11-4 in singles and 6-5 in doubles with Gesser … Placed third at New Mexico State Aggie Invitational … Reached finals of Tennessee-Chattanooga/Steve Baras Classic, but did not play championship match against teammate Nicklas Wingord … Advanced to the consolation finals of the ITA Texas Regional, but was unable to play his final match against Texas A&M’s Tito Moreiras due to travel curfew … Defeated competitors from Incarnate Word, Texas Tech and UT-San Antonio en route to consolation finals … Won consolation finals with Gesser at UTC/Barras over UTC duo of Grigorjevs/Varon, 8-6.
