2012 (Junior):  Gabriel enters his junior season with 90 catches for 1,283 yards and 10 touchdown receptions in his career.  He is on pace to finish in the top three in ACU history in all three categories.

2011 (Sophomore): Enjoyed a huge sophomore season with 64 catches for 98 yards and 10 touchdowns receiving.  He also carried the ball eight times for 104 yards and 136 yards in punt returns to give him 1,228 all-purpose yards on the season.  He averaged 15.4 yards per catch and 89.8 receiving yards per game.  A second team all-Lone Star Conference selection, Gabriel posted five 100-yard receiving games, including in each of the final three games of the season.  He had the first 100-yard receiving game of his career on Sept. 17 against North Alabama when he caught eight passes for 135 yards and two touchdowns at Cowboys Stadium.  He set a career-best with 10 catches for 138 yards and three touchdowns on Oct. 22 at Midwestern State.  In the final three games of the season he had seven catches for 109 yards and one score against Texas A&M-Commerce (Nov. 5), five catches for 111 yards and one TD against Incarnate Word (Nov. 12) and six catches for 119 yards and two touchdowns against Washburn (Nov. 19) in the Wildcats' first-round playoff loss.

2010 (Freshman):  Played in all 12 games (0 starts) as freshman with 26 catches for 295 yards (0 TDs).  Also rushed 7 times for 33 yards.  Had 5-catch game for 59 yards in 53-14 win at Eastern New Mexico.  Finished the Wildcat scoring with 80-yard punt return for TD in 65-3 win over Tarleton State.

High school:  Three-year letterman at wide receiver, DB and kick returner.  Earned Class 5A TSWA all-state as senior in 2008 with 90 catches for 1,354 yards and 13 TDs for 4-7 team with school’s first playoff bid.  Averaged 29 yards per kickoff return.  Also APSE second team all-state, District 11-5A MVP.  All-district as junior with 47 catches for 588 yards and 4 TDs.  Also competed in basketball and track and field.
