Biography

Returns to the ACU lineup after starting in all 12 Wildcat games in 2008.  Should be one of the top offensive linemen in NCAA Division II football after a dominating junior season.  Has already been named a pre-season NCAA Division II all-America selection by Consensus Draft Services, and been ranked as the No. 6 offensive tackle prospect in all of NCAA?college football by NFL?personnel expert Gil Brandt on nfl.com.  Washington will start at left tackle once again in 2009 as one of three returning starters on the ACU offensive line. 

2008 (Junior):  Washington started 12 games at left tackle for the Wildcats, helping ACU lead the nation in total offense (558.8 yards per game) and scoring offense (52.3 points per game), while finishing second in the nation in sacks allowed per game (0.67).  Washington was voted first team all-Lone Star Conference South Division and was voted the division's Offensive Lineman of the Year. Washington was also voted first team all-Super Region 4 by both Daktronics and Don Hansen's Football Gazette.  He was voted first team all-America by both Daktronics and d2football.com, and was a second team all-America by Don Hansen's Football Gazette. 

2007 (Trinity Valley Community College):
Named first team all-Southwest Junior College Football Conference at tackle. 

High school:  Only played one year of high school football, earning all-league honors.
