High school:  Two-year letterman at quarterback with honorable mention all-district honors for teams that were 3-8 as junior with playoff appearance and 1-9 as senior.  Also competed in basketball.  Member of National Honor Society.

Personal: Born 28 Dec 1992.  2011 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, Texas.  Uncle, Alvin Ruben, played for University of Houston and Green Bay Packers in NFL.
