Biography

Undersized defensive end could be moved to linebacker as a freshman where he could contend for playing time in 2007.

High school: As a senior in 2006, Thompson was a first team all-Greater Houston selection by the Houston Chronicle after posting 119 tackles, 36 tackles for loss, 29 sacks and three blocked kicks. He helped lead Houston St. Pius X to a 13-0 record and TAPPS state championship in 2006. He was an all-district and all-state selection as both a junior and senior.
