2013 (Junior): Played in all 11 games (three starts), finishing with 23 catches for 305 yards and three touchdowns with a long catch of 35 yards (vs. Prairie View A&M in the Nov. 16 season finale). Had his best game of the season in ACU’s last game of the year as he caught five passes for 87 yards and one score in a 65-45 win over Prairie View A&M. He caught three passes for 51 yards and two scores in the season-opening 84-6 win over Concordia, Ala. He also returned one kickoff for 35 yards in the game against Concordia, his only kickoff return of the season.
2012 (Sophomore): Had a solid second season with the Wildcats, playing in 11 games and finishing with 34 catches for 451 yards and two scores with a long catch of 57 yards against Angelo State. He had his only 100-yard game of the season in that Sept. 22 loss at Angelo State as he finished with five catches for 131 yards and one touchdown. His other touchdown catch of the season was a 4-yard reception from Mitchell Gale in ACU’s 34-28 win at Delta State, Miss., on Sept. 27. He also returned two punts for seven yards.
2011 (Freshman): Played in nine games as a true freshman, finishing the season with nine catches for 160 yards and one touchdown. He had four catches for 48 yards in ACU’s Oct. 22 loss to Midwestern State. His only touchdown of the season came in the Wildcats’ Nov. 19 loss to Washburn in the first round of the NCAA Division II playoffs when he caught a 73-yard TD pass from Mitchell Gale.
High school: Competed in football, basketball, and track and field. Wide receiver in football for 11-3 team with 63 catches for 876 yards and 8 TDs. Sprinter in track with top times of 10.73 in 100 meters and 21.20 in 200 meters. Was also a member of the National Honor Society.
Personal: Son of Deania Thompson. His uncle, Charles Thompson, played football at Texas A&M. 2011 graduate of DeSoto High School. Born 20 January 1992.
